BUNYIP PARK

Public BBQ

Bunyip Park beside the river in Koolunga offers a surprisingly complete camping experience for such a modest space. The level caravan sites accommodate both free campers and those seeking powered spots, though availability of the two powered sites can be hit-or-miss due to semi-permanent residents. The amenity block provides essential toilets, cold showers, and a dump point, while hot showers and power unlock with a $10 donation and key from the nearby pub. Families appreciate the playground and shelter shed, while the sparkling barbecues invite leisurely meals under the canopy. A small walking trail meanders through the wooded area, where abundant birdlife provides natural entertainment. The pub sits within walking distance.
